If you have published before, please include a brief resume, listing articles or books with their subjects and publishers.

Do you have a topic in mind to develop during the workshop?

Please include a writing sample of between 1000 and 4000 words in length: this could be a short story, essay, or an excerpt from a longer piece.

Participants should ideally register with a book topic in mind, and bring with them some initial written material to be used as a point of departure - anything from basic notes to a complete first-draft.

Once you have registered, you will receive your Course Pack as well as information on Orvieto: arrivals and departures, hotels and restaurants, and notes on sight-seeing and day trips.

The Umbria Writing & Publishing Workshop will only run as planned if at least four tuition-paying students have enrolled by May 15.  If fewer have enrolled, the Workshop retains the right to offer a shorter version of the workshop within the same advertised dates, presenting the same material but in more of a tutorial setting.
